Why Mongolian Impressions? The definition of an impression is: a lasting effect, opinion, or mental image of somebody or something. God has left an impression on us for the people of Mongolia. Our family would like to share the impression left on us and leave an impression on others as we all fulfill the Great Commission left to us by our Lord.

About Us

Zachary Pyle
I grew up in a semi-Christian home.  There was a knowledge of the existence of God and understanding that there were others such as Jesus, Moses, Adam, Eve, etc.. besides knowing they existed, I knew nothing else.  It wasn't until I was thirteen that I heard that I was a sinner in need of a Savior,  and inside I knew it to be true. My youth pastor led me to the Lord and explained how a person can be saved.
A few years after my baptism, God was dealing with me on my call to the ministry and while in college that call became a call to missions.  In both instances, all I could think about was those things, and though I had plenty of "excuses" and "reasons" to not answer either call,  God would not let up. In life I have found that it is better to say yes to God then for Him to knock you on the side of your head to get your attention.
Our burden had always been to take the Gospel where there was little or no work being done.  Whitney and I also thought it wise to go to such a place and be a part of a mission team.  Praying that God would lead and fill in the details, God led us to the previous missions interns of Lifepoint Baptist Church, Chris and Stephanie Ballinger.  We had many discussions about the country of Mongolia, the obstacles, and the great need.  After multiple conversations, prayer, and counsel we knew that Mongolia was the place God wanted us.

Jesus Christ became my Lord and Savior when I was four years old. I began to serve in my local church when I was about ten years old. I started working in children's ministries with my parents. I helped in the nursery, as well as in the four and five year olds jr. church class. I loved talking to the kids about Jesus. When I was about eleven years old, I joined the church choir. At summer camp when I was thirteen years old, I started to feel like God might be calling me to be a missionary. I started praying about it, and I surrendered to that calling of full time missionary service at a mission's conference in January when I was fourteen years old. I continued serving in my local church by being involved in the youth praise band, choir, special music, children's ministries, and the drama team. I went on two missions trips while in high school, one to Acuna, Mexico and one to Baja, Mexico. I began seeking where God wanted me to go to college during my senior year of high school. After much prayer and consideration, I moved almost seven hundred miles away from my home and began attending Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in the Fall of 2005. While attending college there, I joined a local church and began working in the children's ministries at that church. After completing my freshmen year at BBC, I went on a missions trip to Haiti in July 2006. God reconfirmed on that trip that He wanted me to be a missionary. In January 2007, I married Zachary Pyle after a three and half year long courtship. I knew that this was all part of God's wonderful plan for my life and ministry. While enrolled at BBC, I attended the same church all four years of college and actively served in children's ministries and ladies ministries up until graduating in May 2009. I graduated from Baptist Bible College in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Missions and Bible. After graduating, my husband and I moved back to our hometown and our home church and became the missions interns at Lifepoint Baptist Church. During our two year internship, we have become parents to a handsome baby boy, Oakley Martin, have helped with an outreach program at the church, have taught a young adults class, and have helped in children's ministries. I am excited to see what God is going to continue to do with our family as we have surrendered to serve Him in Mongolia.

Oakley Pyle

Oakley was born on November 2009.  He eats just about anything he can get his hands on. He is a rambunctious little guy with an overall sweet spirit. He loves to wrestle with Daddy, run, play outside, help Mommy put clothes in the dryer, and watch his “moobies”(movies). Oakley is one of God’s greatest blessings to us.

Huxley Pyle

Huxley was born May of 2012. Our newest addition, he is as calm as babies go, unless it comes to food.

Our home church and sending church is Lifepoint Baptist Church, of San Angelo, TX.  Gary Phillips former missionary to the Phillipines is the pastor.

May 11, 2011, Whitney and I were approved as BBFI misisonaries to Mongolia.  We are excited to be one of the families dedicated to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Whitney and I both graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.  We graduated with a bachelor of science in Missions and Bible.
